Now you can support all of Love Thy Neighbor’s programs every time you shop on Amazon!!!  When you sign up on Amazon Smile, you will have the same shopping experience as regular Amazon, AND Amazon Smile Foundation will automatically donate .5% of your purchase to LTN.

Sign up is easy.  On your first visit to smile.amazon.com, in the box that says pick your own charitable organization, type LTN Love Thy Neighbor.   Please note that there are more than one “Love Thy Neighbor” organizations listed, so be sure to select the correct one.  (Ours is labeled LTN Love Thy Neighbor and it will have a Frisco, TX address – they are updating this to our Flower Mound address, but it may take a few weeks.) 

For the donations to flow, you must return to http://smile.amazon.com anytime you want to shop on Amazon, so be sure to bookmark it.   Frequently asked questions as well as some screen shots are posted below.

What is AmazonSmile?

AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support Love Thy Neighbor every time you shop, at no cost to you. When you shop at smile.amazon.com, you’ll have the exact same shopping experience as the regular Amazon.com website, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to our organization.

How do I shop at AmazonSmile?

To shop at AmazonSmile simply go to smile.amazon.com from your web browser on your computer or mobile device. You may also want to add a bookmark to smile.amazon.com to make it even easier to return and start your shopping next time at AmazonSmile.

How will I know I am still enrolled for LTN?

Once you have enrolled, our organization name will show up on the top left of your screen right under the item search bar each time you visit smile.amazon.com.

Can I use my existing Amazon.com account on AmazonSmile?

Yes, you will use the same account on Amazon.com and AmazonSmile. Your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings will always be the same.

Which products on AmazonSmile are eligible for charitable donations?

Tens of millions of products on AmazonSmile are eligible for donations.  Products will be marked “Eligible for  AmazonSmile donation” in their product details, usually under the product description but sometimes over to the right. Recurring Subscribe-and-Save purchases, Kindle books, and subscription renewals are not currently eligible.

How much of my purchase does Amazon donate?

The AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. The purchase price is the amount paid for the item minus any rebates and excluding shipping & handling, gift-wrapping fees, taxes, or service charges. From time to time, they may offer special, limited time promotions that increase the donation amount on one or more products or services or provide for additional donations to charitable organizations.  While this amount may sound small, it adds up quickly!!!  The more people we can sign up to buy through AmazonSmile, the better. So please share with your friends and family!

Can I receive a tax deduction for amounts donated from my purchases on AmazonSmile?

Donations are made by the AmazonSmile Foundation and therefore are not tax deductible by you.

How do I set up to support Love Thy Neighbor when shopping on AmazonSmile?

On your first visit to smile.amazon.com, you will be asked to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. AmazonSmile will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make at smile.amazon.com will result in a donation to LTN.  In the box that says pick your own charitable organization, type LTN Love Thy Neighbor.   Please note that there are more than one Love Thy Neighbor organizations, so be sure to select the correct one.  Ours is labeled LTN Love Thy Neighbor and it will have a Frisco, TX address (this is based on an old address for us and we are getting this updated to Flower Mound, TX, but Amazon indicated that it could take several weeks.)

Can I verify after the fact that my order has benefited LTN?

Yes, if you go to an order in your history and click on ORDER DETAILS, it will show a note at the top stating "Supporting LTN Love Thy Neighbor" if it was an eligible order.

Tom Thumb Good Neighbor Program

Now, every time you buy groceries at Tom Thumb, you can help us raise money for our Newborns in Need chapter! 

We are now set up at Tom Thumb for their Good Neighbor Program!  Please take a few minutes to stop by the customer service desk next time you are in Tom Thumb and turn in a form to ADD our organization (13050) to your Rewards card.  Once you do this, Love Thy Neighbor will receive 1% of every purchase you make!  It is an easy way to help us raise money for fabric, yarn and sewing supplies.

You can download the form Customer's Good Neighbor Charity Addition/Deletion Form.  Be sure to ADD our organization number 13050, your reward card number, name, phone number and then sign.  If you have any questions, you can call the 800 number on the form.  The completed form should be dropped off at the Customer Service Center in your local Tom Thumb or can be turned into Gloria at any meeting.  PLEASE NOTE YOU MAY NEED TO REMOVE THE NUMBER WE USED FOR NEWBORNS IN NEED WHEN YOU ADD LOVE THY NEIGHBOR. (Be sure to REMOVE 13159 and ADD 13050).

Sign Up for Kroger Community Rewards

Now, every time you buy groceries at Kroger, you can help raise money for our Newborns in Need chapter!  Please take the time to link your card RIGHT NOW at www.KrogerCommunityRewards.com.

If you have a card, but are a new “online” customer:

Click on “Register” then enter your email address, create a password, enter your zip code, click on favorite store, and agree to the terms and conditions.  Once you are done entering your information you will get a message asking you to check your e-mail inbox and click on the link within the body of the e-mail that was sent to activate your Kroger account and link it to your Kroger Plus Card.

To add our organization to your card:

Click on “Edit” in the “Community Rewards” section. Enter our community rewards number (89273) and then click on “Search”.  Select our organization (Love Thy Neighbor, Inc.) and click on “Save”.  To verify that you enrolled correctly, you should see our name on the right side of your account settings page. Once you are linked, we will start earning rewards for your purchases. (Note: A message saying that you are supporting an organization through the Kroger Community Rewards program will start printing on your receipt about 10 business days after you have linked your card.)

Already have an on-line Kroger.com account?

Enter your email address and password to sign in and follow the instructions above to add our organization to your card.

Don't remember your Kroger Plus card number?

Call 800-576-4377 and select option 4 to get your Plus Card number.

Don't have a Kroger Plus Card?

You can obtain a digital Kroger Plus Card when creating an account online or request one at any Kroger store.

Remember, you must swipe your registered Kroger Plus Card or use your Alternate ID (such as your phone number) whenever you are shopping for each purchase to count.
