Thanks
to all our many volunteers who donated time, money and purchased and handmade items to
make our annual Christmas bag project a success! We completed over 344
bags that were handed out to families who were blessed with newborn
babies at Parkland just before Christmas.

| Tying the bags and adding tags |
Each beautiful hand made bag
included a blanket, a sleeper, a warm hat, a pair of socks or booties, a
hand painted Christmas ornament, and a soft stuffed embroidered toy
made by our volunteers. The Child Development staff at Parkland provided
books, developmental toys and first Christmas ornaments to add to the
bags. There is no doubt that each family that received one was thrilled
to receive so many beautiful essentials for their newborn!
